Watsonia Neighbourhood House first with "Recharge Point"
Taking part in a new initiative introduced by Banyule City Council, Watsonia Neighbourhood House is one of the first to introduce a "Recharge Point" giving access to electricity for people who use electric wheelchairs and scooters.
If you use an electric wheelchair or scooter and you are out and about and you find yourself low on power all you need do is call into Watsonia Neighbourhood House and ask to "RECHARGE", we will be only to happy to help you out.
This is a new initiative by Banyule City Council's MetroAccess Program. We are up and running right now and there will be an official launch in August when a full list of "Recharge Points" will be made available.
